About Us
Welcome to CPO, the only professional association for men and women that are employed by local chambers of commerce in Ohio. We are incorporated in Ohio as a 501(c) (6) private professional association.
Chamber Professionals of Ohio provides resources, training, and networking opportunities to support and strengthen local chamber of commerce professionals across the state.

Matt Owen
Executive Director
As executive director, Matt is the driving force behind CPO's efforts to train, develop and provide resources and guidance to chambers of commerce executives, their staff, and board of directors that provide growth and success. He is a seasoned non-profit executive with more than 24 years of experience in business & economic development, program development, and more. He's served at Chambers at all levels from large, to regional, to small.

NOW ACCEPTING BOARD APPLICAITONS
If you are interested in serving on the CPO's Board of Directors we are now accepting applications to fill seats starting in 2025. Click Here for the application form. The Board of Directors is comprised of not less than 15 professional members and no more than 21. Efforts are made to include a cross section of director representation from across the state of Ohio. Each director serves a three-year term and are limited to two consecutive terms. The Board of Directors elects from its own an Executive Committee.
