About CCEO

Welcome to CCEO, the only professional association for men and women that are employed by local chambers of commerce in Ohio.

It is the individual staff persons that belong to CCEO - not the chambers they are employed by.

Our ranks also include CVO's (Chief Volunteer Officers) of smaller chambers that don't yet have paid staff, as well as for-profit business partners that provide useful and valuable products and services for chambers and their business member-investors.

We are incorporated in Ohio as a 501(c)(6) private professional association.

Our Vision is to "Develop our country's most effective chamber leaders".

Our Mission is to "Provide resources that maximize chamber leadership to create a strong business climate for our communities" ... to help you, your chamber and community thrive! 

Since we were founded in 1916 as the Professional Secretaries Association of Ohio, we have grown to over 235 members representing some 200 local chambers. 

We welcome your ideas and suggestions on additional content we could add to make this website and CCEO even more relevant to you!
