Regional Government Affairs Conference

We are governed by a 20-member board of directors elected by our Professional Members.  

Based on the Program of Works, the Board of Directors in turn elects the officers that make up the Executive Committee. (See organizational chart for 2008 below.)

A. MISSION DIVISIONS are focused on carrying out our Mission.
Professional Development & Support: Marla Akridge, Chair (Ashland), Jan Hills (Reynoldsburg) & Elaine Skoog (Bowling Green)  
Focuses on programs & services that support our members' needs for professional development, growth & recognition.

Facilitation Services: Debra Lynn-Schitz, Chair (Medina), Cheri Hottinger (Licking County) & Doug Johnson (Twinsburg)
Provides facilitation services to the chambers of our members and related associations.

Chamber & Business Research: Marie Pucak, Chair (Mentor) & Charlotte Keim (Marietta)
Conducts and publishes reports on issues that are relevant to our members and their chambers.

Communications: Marvin Jones, Chair (Chillicothe-Ross), Randy Heath (Jackson) & Ed Wallace (Logan County Area)
Facilitates effective and relevant communications that will meet our members' needs for timely information and the exchange of best practices.

B. SUPPORT DIVISIONS are focuse on providing resources & support for the Mission Divisions.
Membership: Eileen Leuby, Chair (New Albany), Karen Haley (Wilmington-Clinton County) & Vicki Lowery (Tiffin)
Maximizes membership retention, attraction and assimilation of staff representing all of Ohio's chambers, and busineses that are in support of our vision & mission by providing services and products of value to the local chambers, their business member-investors & CCEO.

Financial & Resource Development: Jed Metzger, Chair (Lima/Allen County), Janet Davis (Westerville), Andy Doehrel (Ohio Chamber), Marvin Jones (Chillicothe-Ross), Debra Lynn-Schmitz (Medina) & Mark V'Soske (Toledo)
Develops strategies designed to provide the necessary financial & other resources needed to support our vision, mission and Program of Works.

Policy & Administration: Roger Blackburn (Fayette County), Andy Doehrel (Ohio Chamber).
Oversees and reviews CCEO's operating policies & practices and, as necessary, recommends changes or additions designed to improve our operational policies, practices & procedures.
